Actually?, no. For the new Batman to have a full mask, I believe it's because he's afroamerican, surely one of Lucius' children. And it would suit if Lucius turned out to be the leader on the Magistrate, considering his new hate against vigilantes.

To be fair, Harley looks pretty young for a future book. I feel like she's supposed to be late 30s/40s but still looks 20 something.

Actually?, no. For the new Batman to have a full mask, I believe it's because he's afroamerican, surely one of Lucius' children. And it would suit if Lucius turned out to be the leader on the Magistrate, considering his new hate against vigilantes.

That makes no sense since we are all expecting the new Batman to be African American so there is no incentive to hide his identity unless he's a white guy or mixed.

It's for an in-story reason most probably. Batman was always a white dude, and people apparently know it was Bruce Wayne under the cowl. But suddenly here comes a new, unidentifiable Batman. If his skin was visible, it'd be a lot easier to identify him again, especially in a police state like the Magistrate's Gotham seems to be.

Because Beyond is ending soon. Tying Terry to Red X would boost both characters' popularity and make it easier to put Terry in non-Beyond comica.

A lot of people who grew up watching TT and Beyond are probably familiar with them.
