There was a Western called Gunmen’s Walk where Van Heflin players a wealthy arrogant douche who helps to turn his son played by Tab Hunter into a sociopathic killer. At the end, Heflin learns how much Hunter hated him, and Heflin is forced to kill him. Maybe that is the scenario that Spencer has in mind for Norman. Make him kill Harry as punishment for his actions?

Wait...didn't the letters page for #50 say these were side-stories? Because this looks pretty essential to me...not that I mind, I'm still getting it, but still.
In either case, I LOVE the art! Federico Vicentini needs to transfer over to the main book for sure!!

Agreed. Perfect art for Spidey. Much better than 90% than the art we've got so far in ASM!

I'm hoping this is his test run to see how much he can keep up the schedule. So far, he's solicited for all of the tie-in .LR issues. That's pretty major, especially since he's brand-new. I'd love to have him match up with Gleason and/or Bagley as the second or third rotating artist (preferably the main artist if either doesn't work out).

Yeah, these. LR issues were promoted as side stories starring the Order of the Web, but looking at this preview it looks like essential reading :S

Gotta say, I'm kinda disappointed that that wasn't the case. I was looking forward to read about the team, but it looks that they might stay the entire issue as monsters, at least if we consider that the next .LR issue also has them as monsters on the cover.

Considering that Jessica is inexplicably with the new costume, kinda expected for her to suddenly change costumes like Anya did from #49/#850 to #50 lol.

Which i mean, ties into closer what's happening in the main book, but it does kill interest for me personally. lol

Yeah, can be more interesting to show something more relevant instead of "While Spidey is moving the plot, here's some other characters doing something irrelevant", but sucks if Marvel lied, again, but comic books I guess.

Honestly if it's about the other Spider-People doing ****, I'll be surprised if even Miles ends up being useful, so far only Gwen and Julia have been doing something that stands out, though Julia's is her incompetency.

Cassandra was way better, since she tried to help as much as she could with what the visions gave her.

She did have her flaws as a person, and unfortunately, didn't get over them (After all, she joined the Gathering Five because she was afraid of dying, and she did give in when the Kravinovs captured and tortured her, something she knew it would happen even), but she was reliable enough.

Julia lacks those flaws, so they compensate by making her have visions no problem, but being terrible at her job.

I'm now imagining that if a Madame Web III happens, she'll either somehow manage to be even worse than Julia, or outright be a villain, and if it's a villain, maybe so incompetent at it that she'll help out more often than not .

It's kinda bizarre to get a redeeming Norman Osborn and a irredeemable Harry Osborn in the switch of a issue.

I get that Norman feels bad about Gwen and Harry but the dude also seems to be forgetting he arranged the murder of a mentally ill superhero's wife just so he could bring out his world-ending powers that led to an assault that killed thousands
