He was depowered and then killed. He was repowered to help out the soldiers and when he spit in the man face he depowered him again and killed him with the device they implanted to depower him. If he was simply depowered they could have just taken the device out like Emma and he would have his powers back anyway. That's why the guy says bring in the other healer.

The art is not so good but the coloring is great. Let's hope we keep the colorist.
Love Asrar on this. I can't wait to see how Lorna applies her powers and I like that Magneto defers to her, here as well. He really seems invested in strengthening their familial bond.
My Summer rain. My rooftop in Japan. My quiet in the storm. *cries* Al Ewing is GOD...Praise His name! Uplift Him in song! Glorify His works!
I wonder when Apocalypse is gonna be a bad ass again.
Since Hox/Pox the only time he felt that way was when he was beating up Aero, a small girl(The crucible was easily the best issue of X-men).
Easily losing to Nimrod, getting killed by Rogue. Needing other, weaker mutants to cover his ass all the time.
He looks like a bad ass in flashbacks, but almost never in the present. I hope he goes through some type of character growth or something. This is embarrassing for someone always preaching about being strong and worthy.
I only continue to read X-books because I don't spend any money on it.
Losing to three Nimrod at once is nothing to be ashamed of. And before falling he had already destroyed one.
He's pretty much been a boss since Dawn of X. Doing what he wants, returning to reunite Krakoa. He's on the council but clearly does what he wants and has his own agenda. Badasses aren't just in fights.
Before HoXPoX he'd kind of been reduced to being a Worf type of villain. A big threat that others beat up to look better. I guess you could say that now he's getting back to that characterization after HoXPoX tried to make him a big deal again.
They've been jobbing Apocalypse since before Evan was born.
"Cable was right!"
To be fair as much I would like to see her destroy him in a straight fight, he was basically asking to die in order for a ritual to be completed. So really it was assisted suicide than anything. Also she's one of the few mutants who could probably kill him anyway, since he's still basically invulnerable to most physical and mental attacks.
That's actualy the case for almost all Morlocks. Which is in line with how the writers gave them this pseudo-mystified way of seeing themself as some sort of outcast tribe rejected by "mysterious" world above.+. Hence seemingly rejecting their old "human" identities too.
He also spend the last 40 years being dead after like less than 10 appearances before that. So it's no surprise he never had the chance to reveal his old indentity either way.
In retrospective. It makes a Morlock named Sarah actualy stand out as unusual.
