The topic deserves its own thread, I think.
a woman as a villain is very difficult.
men for one reason or another prefer male characters as the center of the story.
women prefer a woman who acts like a villain, but who is deep down a good girl, who ends up saving the day (birds of prey).
that's why women with the potential to be a villain end up being spoiled girls who do what they want and always get away with it.

There are. I listed two of them.

The issue with female super villains isn't that some of them turn good - and this isn't exclusive to them, it happens with male villains all the time - it's that they often fall into four categories: femme fatale, misandrist, woman scorned and female lackey.

Meh. There are many people around me like a truly evil female villain.

assumptions, but tell me why all villains end up as spoiled girls, why all stories (most of them) have a man in the spotlight, why the joker of injustice is a villain but harley is a heroine.

Well, Because most stories are men in the spotlight, Men tend to play the central characters.
So it not because women couldn't be villains. It just because they've less impact in stories. Writing a woman villain is no more difficult than writing a woman protagnist imo.

I was kind of expecting more Batman villains on the list.. you know, since many consider his rogue gallery the best..

Good point, most famous writers have probably been men, especially for superheroes, so it's sadly no surprise there are few great female villains. There is no reason why a woman can't be pure evil or mean just like a man. They exist in real life.

Superman has Ursa/Faora, for instance. I think she's a great villain who could be a lead if the writers wanted to. She could be General Zod.
