Default Justice League vs. Justice League Dark vs. Justice Society

Diana's had membership of three notable teams in the past few years. Her usual Justice League membership, the anniversary issue retconned back her history with the JSA (not a secretary this time presumably ), and being the leader on the Justice League Dark in it's current iteration. So if Diana could only be a member of one of these teams, which would you pick?

For me, call it recency bias, but I'd say the JLD just going on what I've read with JLD vs. JL (even when including media JL adaptations)

I miss Hippolyta being the JSA’s Wonder Woman.

I prefer JLD but to be honest, I'm not sure if she benefits that much from being on a team these days.

Justice League, because she's part of the iconic line up there.

To be honest, unless you're doing a full alternate history, having her be active since the 1940s insults her character more than it compliments her, so the JSA is a no go.

JLD (though I really hate this name) mostly because she's actually a central character in it and not just the token female.

JLD because it’s actually been good and she’s played an important role. She hasn’t done squat in the last couple JL runs, whereas JLD showcased Diana and one of her Rogues Circe in a positive manner.

Sadly nobody will buy a Shadowpact, Sentinels of Magic, or any of the other failed magic teams DC has tried to put together.

I’m fine with it as a title for the book but yeah in-universe it sounds little silly even by super-teams. Probably just do the YJ show thing where it doesn’t have an in-universe name.

I do too. It really gave her a different perspective and so much growth. It allowed there to be a WW2 Wonder Woman without having to reboot the New Earth stories.

I think Jimenez was really the only one writer who I think got some mileage out of it, and that was because he used it to develop Diana and Hippolyta's relationship.

I liked how it made Diana jealous, she so rarely has a negative emotion and it made perfect sense. She seemed more human.

Well, he is one of her few great writers.

Pretty much this. She's JLA as far as I'm concerned. It's insulting to both the JSA and their fans to shoehorn her in there as if they needed her or anyone else to inspire them and lead them. JL Dark....just stick with the WW basics, JLA. I'd rather see the other members of JL Dark without having her steal their thunder. With JLA, the other characters are popular enough to withstand her; with the other teams, she's going to just take over.

Honest question, when was the last time a Wonder Woman villain posed a threat to the Justice League? I saw an issue from the 1970s where Queen Clea used the Venus Girdle to take control of Superman and use him to attack Wonder Woman. I was honestly shocked to see a Wonder Woman villain and Wonder Woman mythology taken seriously and posing an actual threat to the Justice League.

Does anyone know the last time a Wonder Woman villain was portrayed as Justice League worthy dangerous?

Not a League book but a notable instance to me is Circe in The Witch and Warrior storyline from Jimenez’s run.
