Default Is Batman the first title to reach 100 issues since 2011??

I believe the Batman monthly is the first series to reach the 100 issue mark since the New 52 started. I'm referring to reaching a 100th issue in its numbering, without being rebooted, cancelled/restarted or legacy numbering brought back.

Crazy to think its been over 9 years since we've seen a monthly have a 3 digit issue count on the cover (besides Action and Detective) in the DCU monthlies.

Yeah, but only because Legacy numbering was restored to Flash, whose most recent issue would've otherwise been #102.

that actually is a pretty good accomplishment. I think this may honestly be for both DC and Marvel, I can't think of any Marvel title that has made it 100 issues recently that isn't a legacy numbered book.

Of course Marvel renumbered almost everything just before DC did (with Rebirth), after Secret Wars.

Oh man Marvel was pulling the start over with a new #1 and new Volume in the late 00's. It was maddening trying to track down the reading order of Hulk or Iron Man post Dark Reign/Heroic Age.

But yes, it seems you only see titles reach 100 issues in the independent non hero series.

Before they restarted over the disney comics were in the hundreds.

Sonic was up there as well as other archie titles for some time for a bit.

    Spawn reached 100 didn't he?

Some mangas are pretty high up.

    Spawn is over 300.

    Savage Dragon is over 250.

Red Sonja & Vampirella are over 100.

Valliant's Shadowman will hit 100 if his next run reaches 8 issues.

Rom Space Knight is close to 100.

This is partly why floppies are a pointless purchase for the bigger franchise characters
trade waiting makes for a much more enjoyable reading experience
