    Hmm, interesting read there.

And then introduces MJ to Cap.
I loved that issue. That was a beautiful issue.

Yes...it was a great balance of Spider-Man and Pete and MJ. And I always like when Spidey and Cap team up

It is stuff like that that makes me want to see MJ have friendships with some of Peter's 'other' friends. But in a way that would make sense for 'regular' people like Pete and MJ to be friends with them.

I always thought JMS had a good handle on Doom. In addition to his ASM, then he got to write him in his Fantastic Four run where he wrote his return from Hell after Waid's Fantastic Four.

In ASM #50 , I assume Steve and Sam were working undercover acting as Doom's escort at the airport. I assume Doom traveled in his out aircraft and didn't fly domestic. JR jr draws a Doom that looks like a giant next to them

Yes, I was impressed with Ewing's view of these two characters who do have a long history. I also like the way the interacted as just two men discussing these new developments revealed at the gala. I think it's mostly that Doom perhaps gained a new maturity since his Secret Wars and Infamous Iron Man days. He did lose it over the wedding fiasco recently but that was somewhat understandable.

In a way, it makes sense, as they're both the living symbols of their respective nations --- Cap as champion, Doom as ruler.
