What's sweet and kinda sad about Kara is that you kinda suspect she says things like that because she heard her parents talk that way. In a sense, Kal-El never knew his parents or Krypton so he didn't really experience the same kind of total loss in childhood that she did.

It’s not a difference that’s ever really been explored (to my knowledge), but it’s a big difference yeah.
Same applies to Martian Manhunter, when he and Superman are compared.

    Speaking of animation...

    Transformers had a memorable one...

A bit obscure, but nonetheless memorable would be Kenshin Himura (Rurouni Kenshin):

And of course, the all-time classic...

The corner of the Marvel Universe which belongs to Spider-Man has many favorites...

    1. Venom (Eddie Brock)

    2. Spider-Man 2099 (Miguel O'Hara)

    3. Dr. Octopus (Spectacular Spider-Man)

Nero Wolfe had a fun repertoire.

You can find a bunch of books I wrote stories for here. The weekly column is here.

I certainly hope you read the books, they're awesome. I myself have contributed in a small way to the canon.

"By the white wolf!" is one as well as "By the goddess!" Maybe because its Claremont but I say the last especially quite a bit.

I don't know if she still uses it, but I used to love Wonder Woman's "Great Hera" exclamation in the 1970s.
