    Default Why do you love CBR?

    This is kinda an appreciation thread, but a different one, its my way of saying thanks to everyone on this site.

    I started comics in 2012 after my Mum said I needed to spend pocket-money more wisely (I would go to Sainsburys and blow it all on food, and I'm still skinny!) so I came here. I love this forum, I have made so many good friends, Phelpzy (Doesn't post much) being one, we talk daily on Twitter! Also CJStriker, Cold_War_Myth, Pat(?) sorry if I'm making errors or forgetting people! All the guys down on the Carol Danvers thread! So many people, I can't remember!
    I love it here, after a long ass dull day of work/school/going-out, I just love logging on and seeing all these threads! I love it here. I hope that one day I can be a moderator!

    Because despite different tastes we love the medium and it shows. And i love my fellow fans--its beautiful to see different people enjoying, celebrating and even complaining--its all still passion.

    Ill-will may last a thread but not a Forum.

    I love that there are so many fans here. Its always fun to find hundreds of new posts every time you log in. Many comics forums are like desolate wastelands where only a handful of people post irregularly, which makes having conversations difficult.

    I am still new to the site and to the hobby. But I have been impressed with many of the informative and well thought out post. The evaluations here, along with the varied interest has been awesome to help me learn and explore the comic universe. I only hope one day myself to be able to give back and share my growing passion and knowledge.

    I do love that this feels like one of the most inclusive places on the net now, it's a welcome change to find somewhere that doesn't tolerate sexism, homophobia and racism.

    It used to be about the comic book discussions for me when I first registered and started posting.

    But nowadays, it's about the people. That crazy bunch of geeky folks from all around the globe, whom you can have intelligent conversations with, joke around with, or just chat away when you're having a hard day. Love you guys!! <3<3<3
