Though, he works fine as a solo character.
I know, right?! Still kinda iffy about him joining any team, but I'll always enjoy when he's on his own (XD)

American Eagle vs Bullseye (Thunderbolts #115)

There was also a great Quicksilver vs Mr. X fight (actually, it's more of a massacre than a fight) in Thunderbolts 143 during Seige, but I'll try to find scans later.

    Peace

Thanks very much for this. This was my absolute favorite moment in the post-Civil War Thunderbolts, Bullseye getting the beatdown he deserved.
The spider is always on the hunt.

Awesome choice. I LOVED this series and this fight was fantastic. Marquez is easily in my top 5 artists (along with Caselli, Maleev, Sejic and Janin). He's currently doing amazing work on Batman: Killing Time (issue #3's Batman vs. The Help - a ridiculously dope new villain - is another fight that belongs in this thread IMO), and although it gets killed by the majority of both fans and critics, his art was the best thing about Civil War II, what I consider the best art in any Marvel event.

Karnak's redesign really did serious wonders for him. He went from a tiny, cartoonish weirdo with a giant head who speaks in exposition to a gritty, streetwise badass with unlimited swagger.

I remember this series and it was very good. But did it ever get finished? I seem to recall some delays.

Probably Thor's rematch with Juggernaut in Thor issue 429.

"Sir, does this mean that Ann Margret's not coming?"

If you're asking about the Karnak series by Ellis, yes it finished and it's a very solid read.

One of my favorite Thor vs. Juggernaut fights comes from the Eighth Day storyline:

"I am a man of peace."

"A man of peace...who fights like ten tigers."
