Predictions for 2021

Betsy will come into her own in the role as Captain Britain, and Excalibur will get a cast shakeup, losing A, Rogue, Gambit, and Jubilee, and will go on a Crosstime adventure.
Betsy and Kwannon will get a giant size issue to fully flesh out their feelings towards each other.
Jean will get a new codename and costume.
Aurora will become the breakout star on X-Factor.
We’ll see characters like Fitzroy, Siena Blaze, Thornn, and Phantazia get some panel time.
Uncanny will launch with Ewing and Asrar.

Children of the Atom gets cancelled after a couple of issues. The new characters never appear again and everyone forgets about this mess.

New Mutants get another new writer after it still flounders. Probably gets cancelled. Sam and Berto still do nothing.

Excalibur still doesn't get a new writer. The book is still not good. Gambit and Rogue still do nothing but complain once in a while.

Marauders keeps going but it's still just Kate and Emma with Storm sometimes. The rest still do nothing. More bad tatoo's, partying, and forced sexual innuendo.

Legion and Mister M pop back up as the missing omegas. Franklin Richards and his power situation gets addressed. Hickman gets a 2nd book about the council. There's a few council replacements and Namor shows up.

Unfortunately Horde Culture return.

We still have no idea who has been resurrected or who is on Krakoa. There's a few more pages of big group shots with random characters where we speculate who might be relevant eventually.

Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch finally are mutants again and relevant. Yay.

A few baddies join Sabretooth in the pit.... Mystique will free them and cause trouble.

Sinister starts his schemes and chimaeras.

Huh, this isn't too far off from what I was gonna write. Cosigned. I'll give Children of the Atom one arc though but I don't have much faith in Vita on that book or New Mutants.

My predictions:

- The ‘No precogs’ shadow rule will come around and bite Krakoa on the ass.
- Krakoa will cross a line, or will somehow provoke a response from the rest of the world, which will lead to the event that closes Act 2, where Krakoa is knocked down a peg or several.
- the Quiet Council will fracture and a new government will be put in place.
- Kurt will introduce mutant religion.
- Danger will show up, and NOT be considered or treated as an enemy. Which will piss Karima off even more.
- something something Shi’ar/Brood related.
-Apocalypse becomes Annihilation at the end of XoS, and Genesis is freed to come to Krakoa as the new ‘ancient’ and see where mutantkind stands now. (OR, XoS ends with the deaths of every mutant older than a few hundred years, thereby symbolically handing the future to the young.)

- Some B or C lister will be granted a mini, but it won't sell enough to warrant a follow up.
- Marvel will continue to prioritize the more A list characters while some X-fans complain about stagnant behavior.
- Another B or C lister headlines another team book, but it gets canceled by issue 8 because of poor sales.
- X23 becomes a co-star in Wolverine's solo, some X-fans complains she deserves her own book.
- X23 is written out of Wolverine's solo and is granted a solo. Storm fans are upset at this news as she still doesn't have a solo title of her own.
- X23's solo is canceled by issue 10 and Storm still doesn't have a solo.
- Wolverine is granted a 4th book and X-fans get angry over something they had no intention of reading in the first place.
- Psylocke is granted a solo... still no on Storm though.

There will be 3 new books aside from Children of the Atom, namely: Uncanny X-men, Exiles, and X-men Legacy.
There will at least be two mini-series: X-corp and a second wave of Giant-Size X-men
There will be cancellations: CotA (may be cancelled abruptly like FA), Hellions (even if it is the best book right now), Cable, and possibly X-Factor.
New writers will replace old ones in: Excalibur, Marauders
There will be at least 2 events: an X-over: either Inferno (clone-related, Madelyne Pryor) or a big Space event (Shiar, Brood) and possibly another tie-in mini X-over (like Empyre)

What I think will happen:
1 - Children of the Atom will sell bad and cancelled after max 6 issues.
2 -New Mutants stories and art will get weirder and weirder, a failng attempt to be more like a horror title, like the movie. It will loose public and get cancelled.
3 - There will still not be a New X-Men title, no matter how hard we beg for it and characters like Surge, Indra, Trance, Hellion, Mercury and Blindfold will still not appear besides maybe the occasional back ground fillers.
4 - X-23 returns, older and cruel. Synch and Darwin died, not able to resurrect, due to being out of range
5 - Children of the Vault will return as big villains, including the ones who dies earlier. IOf course we will NOT get an explanation how they came back to live (<that is a Marvel tradition) and the 2nd group w of the Children with Cadena, Luz and Corregidora will be totally forgotten, like they were never there.
6 - We will not get a Moira solo series and not an X-Corps series.
7 - Beast will pay for his deeds, finally
8 - Jubilee, Rogue and Gambit will still barely have a role to play in Excalibur.
9 - Mystique plans and executes her revanche.
10 - More on the Chimeras being created, leading to the next crossover

What I hope:
1 - We will get 3 new titles:
--- New X-Men, Hellion, Surge, Trance, Indra, Fish, Loa, Match, Mercury and Dust
--- X-Corps, Archangel, Sunspot, Monet, Anole and others
--- Moira , including a team of mutants as cast: Banshee, Madrox, Wolfsbane, Pete Wisdom, Magma and Chamber
2 - Vulcan will become a big bad again.
3 - Mr. & Mrs. X getting the A-status they deserve.
4 - Acolytes and Dark Riders reunited
5 - Justice, Firestar and Silhouette joining Krakoa and start a New Warriors team with Nightcrawler, Colossus, Jubilee, Transonic, Reaper and Wildside.
