So as a pure hypothetical, what would happen if you countered Datz's Infinite Attk Pt Monster's attack with the Draining Shield Trap?

When an opponent's monster declares an attack: Target the attacking monster; negate that attack, and if you do, gain LP equal to that target's ATK.

So, by countering Divine Serpents Infinite Strength Attack with Draining Shield, would you gain Infinite Life Points?

And if so, if you take another attack, how does that get factored? Can you subtract Infinity from Infinity? Would the Duel Disk even be programmed for that or would it just cap out? And in that case, who wins the Duel?
