It's basically a race to see who takes them out first.

In the comic, there seemed to be a tacit understanding that the Avengers get dibs on the bad guys on their home turf. From an editorial standpoint, it stands to reason that Avengers readers would rather see the Avengers beat the bad guys. Then again Dr. Strange upstages the whole team in the following issue.

Like I said the other day, see also the end of the original Avengers series, in Bendis’ Avengers Disembowelled... sorry, ‘Disassembled’.

Wanda effortlessly toyed with the entire Avengers team for four issues, taking out Vision, She-Hulk, Hawkeye and others in a matter of a few panels, then Strange shows up at the end and nonchalantly sorts it all out.

Of course, this was shortly before Fernbuster Stephen arrived, by the same writer.

*checks* Surtur and Ymir one, gotcha.

That was even at the time when Stephen was weaker, and wearing a mask. ^_^

    Fun stuff.

The only way it could have been worse for the Circus is if Thor and the Silver Surfer showed up.
Agreed. Always & forever, this will be my favorite wedding in comic-book history...

When Flash or any other speedster is doing stuff in our speed, does he get bored?

When someone is invulnerable, and needs an operation...how can you help him?

Barry seems too polite to ever express the boredom, but Pietro seems to let it out in the form of extreme disdain.

Batman has done surgery on Superman before. I think it involved either a red sun lamp or a form of kryptonite that de-powered Superman.

Do you think Alfred ever waits until Batman has left the cave and then just throws away some of the new trophy's he's brought back?

"Really, does Master Bruce need a third Riddler cane? ... A stuffed rat from a bank robber that called himself Ratback? Master Bruce won't even remember he fought this man in a week. ... Sewer Masters's cape? Ugh... the smell on this is intolerable. This is going right in the furnace."

The difference between characters like Wally and Barry as opposed to characters like Quicksilver and Northstar is the DC guys have super speed. The Marvel guys live at super speed.
