He's not a villain.Darkwing Duck
Would love Ursula and Evil Manta/Sharkanians (TLM tv show) as Aquaman villians. Where are the rest of the ray/octo-people?
Bad guys from Gummi bears/crossover with Etrigan,Silent Knight and Time travelling YJ
Plant bad-guy from Darkwing duck/Swamp thing
Mean purple girls from Proud family vs Robin
That reminds me, Davy Jones would make a killer Aquaman villain as well.
T'Challa
A.K.A. The Black Panther
King of Wakanda
King of the Dead and The Champion of Bast
Two-Time Time Magazine "Person Of The Year"
Six-Time People Magazine "Sexiest Man Alive"
Without a doubt it would be Facilier from The Princess and the Frog. The dude is just so cool.
The Gaslighting Disney Mom:

Mister Dark (something wicked) vs zatana
What's more, Disney has simply been sitting on the franchise for 20 years, doing NOTHING with it. So much potential with the series. For instance, Greg Weisman had planned on having the Gargoyles go public world wide (and be recognized as a sentient race), and Goliath and Eliza would adopt a child (among a lot of other things). But nope, Disney would rather make useless remakes of already well done films.
Anyway, I think Disney's Hades from Hercules would be a far more fun villain than the one we currently have.
But how would most of these villains fit into modern day settings?
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:
Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.
