    I really loved this issue!

The art was fabulous as expected. And I like the build up for the combats. It feels very grand and important.

So excited for next week's banquet issue. I hope there's a lot of shade thrown.

The summoner lied about the white sword going crazy then. He was sane enough not to join Annhilation. Probably the only loyal mutant left in Arakko.
I only continue to read X-books because I don't spend any money on it.

Red Root also seemed not very pleased by Summoner and the Horsemen's schemes

Redroot, White Sword, Isca and Solem seem willing to betray Arakko.

Agreed. I’d like to see Redroot, Arakko and White Sword join Krakoa at the end. I’m ok with Solem being a thorn in Logan’s side and Isca becoming someone who stays out of conflict.

I think Redroot is the one on Doug’s card

I guess he really was part of this and they decided to remove him quite late into X Of Swords.

If I had to guess a reason, it would be that Hickman would have to be the one to write Magneto's fight, but he didn't have enough room if he also wanted to do Apocalypse and Gorgon.
My guess is after the mikhail rusptin plot he was supposed to use cerebra sword but because of covid delays that story was wrapped before the crossover so it was simpler to remove him and cerebra...

It is sad about Storm, but we have Genesis now to replace her.

Storm is not going to die and "Death" in tarot lore usually tends to mean "New Beginnings" and not literally "Death"

I'm really hope these aren't all death matches because the X-Men could use some long-term additions to their pool of villains.

Same. And that's also why I'm against a bunch of them switching sides. That said, it seems to be a big thread running through this storyline; the blurring of lines.
