Right now it's Death Metal for allowing both Omniverse, the infinite possibility of verse, and Hypertime, the infinite possibilities of alternate timeline to exist at the same time, meaning in one of the timeline and one of the verse, my ideal DC Comics exist, and no one can say it's not canon

Definitely Legends and Invasion (which gave us Justice League International, Suicide Squad, and Justice League Europe, collectively). Though some of my favorite DC titles spun out of events I enjoyed less, like Starman (Zero Hour), Secret Six, and Shadowpact (Infinite Crisis).

My list is quite similar but I would have Blackest Night instead of Sinestro Corps War. 52 I didn't buy in floppy format, I waited until it was collected in TPB form when released and thought it was a better reading experience that way.

Zero Hour was awful but it did lead to Starman which is my favorite comic series of all time.
    AKA FlashFreak
    Favorite Characters:
DC: The Flash (Jay & Wally), Starman- Jack Knight, Stargirl, & Shazam!.
MARVEL: Daredevil, Spider-Man (Peter Parker), & Doctor Strange.

    Current Pulls: Not a thing!

I should have thought of that one too. IMO, 52 was the last time DC unashamedly celebrated having a long, vast and rich universe of characters.

I don't know if this counts, but I truly enjoyed the Mignola artwork for Cosmic Odyssey

Honestly, it was Zatanna's search for her father. Not that I read it as the issues came out. The first issue of JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA that I ever bought was 52 and Zatanna's search concluded in issue 51 (February 1967), dang it! But in the early 1970s, they reprinted the search in different titles and I got most of them as they came out, with JUSTICE LEAGUE OF AMERICA 110 (March-April 1974) reprinting that concluding chapter from 51.

I tend to like the lighter stuff — DC One Million and Young Justice: Sins of Youth. But I also enjoyed Metal more than I expected. It’s light in its own way, I guess, in that it doesn’t treat the story with the po-faced seriousness that many of the arm-ripping, head-splodin’ events do.
