Hey - remember that time when the Helm of Fate was floating around trying to choose its new owner? And a demon accidentally got a hold of it? Good times.

This comic also had one of my favorite sequences:

I saw Supergirl earlier which was my first choice, but decided to go with the Fallen Angel course instead. and it has Illyria, so trying to steal some of the TV show Angel voters.
I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

    ^^^That’s straight up hilarious!

Also, next week, I’m just gonna wait till it’s almost over to submit. I hate changing my mind halfway through.

First thing I thought about was a cover drawn by Kirby, inked by Ditko. Don't see that too often!!

If no one else posts it, maybe after the voting is over I'll post the third cover I was considering.

Punisher is an angel! And it's also a late entry for the Wrightson theme.

Pre Crisis on Infinite CBRs and the shakeup/reboot, there was a poster who used to regularly post covers in this contest that also were applicable to the previous week's contest. I found it amazing and regretfully did not congratulate them on it. Does anyone with a better memory than me remember?

Yes, I remember, and he's still active at the site in my signature.

Lots of choices, but I'm going with Surf this week and one of my favorite quirky late 60s DC series.

The folks here step up big time each and every week. Being a sucker for Alex Ross, I'll go with nx01a!

Englehart Humperdinck for the great use of feathers. It even extends into the corner box!

Shout out to Kirby101. Gabriel looks like he’s walking right out of the cover.
