With Wolverine dead, who will Stop Dazzler from Getting Bloody Revenge?

In a perfect world hopefully we'll be seeing Dazzler seek out Mystique and dismember her piece by piece before roller skating all over her squirming body while melting her face off with strobes to the extended mix of one of her own songs. Yeah, that'd be satisfying in a way but it wouldn't mean much in the way of heroics and Dazzler is a Hero. Luckily for the X-men, they have Wolverine around who in the past has proven quite effective in stopping the blood soaked revenge rampage of many young women in the past whether it be through advice or deadly force. Observe Rachel, getting told by the ol' canuck.




Nobody stops outrageous murderous women from making bad mistakes and tainting their souls like wolveroonie. He the best he is at what he does! Presumably if he were alive after next month, he'd do the same for Dazzler because he probably knows what's up with her and mystique by now. However that won't be the case.

So who do you think will be the one to act as Dazzler's conscience? Who will talk her down the proverbial window sill and keep what's left of her purity in tact?

Could it be One of the Uncanny Team? Strict Scott, wanting to preserve the life of all mutants, good or evil. Wisened Magneto who understands how hate can corrode your heart and turn you into a monster? Slick Emma who could remind Dazzler that cold blooded murder is beneath her? Illyana who might magically reveal that course of action isn't her truest nature? rebellious Irma Cuckoo who presumably let her use her hair dye and might remind Dazzler of the purity of girlishness? or will it be one of the JGS staff? Beast, her old friend that's always come to her aid before? Kurt and his life affirming attitude and desire to not see any more mutant bloodshed..... especially where his mother is concerned? who is the best candidate do you think to stop a rampaging Dazzler?

I voted Magneto. It is long established canon that he is misogynistic and views women as inferior to men by default. He has also a habit of using and committing acts of violence against upstart females who object to his plans or try to exert any kind of authority.

Henry wouldn't because he's the kind of guy that knows when **** is on the road to going down and tries to warn everyone before hand. Example being New X-Men. He gave a friendly warned Scott about fooling around with Emma and he dropped a friendly warning to Emma that Jean would adversely react to her fooling around with Scott. I believe his exact words were: "...it's undignified and Jean will kill you."

Would they even notice Dazzler was rampaging? They haven't noticed her new look at all, so if anyone would stop her it would be Cyclops or maybe Mystique disguised as Longshot.

Dazzler was off the rails during her gladiatrix days as well. I've been trying to find the scene of Beast smearing lipstick all over her face telling her that she was a monster after that totally wtf "scars have a kind of beauty" speech she fed him.

I feel like death pervert Emma would encourage her but Scott would def cockblock her. Either way, she's gonna have to go through Mystique's brotherhood one at a time before she gets to boss lady probably starting with Blob. It's almost a shame she'll be stealing BoomBoom's arch villain away from her, but understandable.

Well it sure wouldn't be Emma, Magik, or Magneto. They were the ones encouraging her to pursue Mystique, in exchange for a front row seat to watch her kick ass.

In reality, I would prefer for Ali and Raven to sit down and talk things out, with her apologizing and Ali giving her another chance, ending with a hug. Though with Bendis, its likely that nothing at all is going to happen with this Raven/Ali business. Maybe at the most, it'll be something supremely anti-climatic.
