    Black Mask is wasted potential to me. Doug Moench created an interesting character with a lot of potential and then subsequent writers ruined him by turning him into a Red Skull knockoff.

    I think the same...

    I liked how the things were made in Catwoman run when she was one Mafia boss who had him as rival..

    After that I did not saw him anymore or at least not as one important character.

    What Batman really needs is a good mob-story arc in either Batman or Detective Comics.

    Something other than our typical Joker-destroys-Gotham-City-AGAIN story arcs.
