Create your own magic words, Shazam style!

Inspired by the 'Intellect of Socrates' thread, I thought it'd be fun to have a thread dedicated to creating new words of power.

SHAZAM, of course, grants

The Wisdom of Solomon
The Strength of Hercules
The Stamina of Atlas
The Power of Zeus
The Courage of Achilles
The Speed of Mercury

For those thread, the process is simple.

1. Pick a character
2. Pick a word for that character
3. Pick Public Domain characters whose names acronym to the word
4. Pick abilities for each public domain character to give.

You can create alternate line ups for SHAZAM, such as the one seen in Darkseid War, or you can pick a different word entirely.

Let's see how this works out

I went with various Gods/Goddesses from different mythology for the acronym, I thought it would be really interesting if he gets other divine beings as his patrons and as a result gain similar but different abilities.

So many options, I really want to explore some for the Aztec, Chinese or Yoruba pantheons, but I don't know enough about them...

So;

A poor Egyptian day laborer hired by a British archaeologist (and posing as a teen boy, to avoid harassment and get the job), Bennu stumbled into a buried shrine and was chosen by the gods of the Ennead to channel their power.

Saying the word 'strong' empowers her (and changes her physique and outfit to something statuesque and classically Egyptian);

Shu, the sky god grants the power of flight, as nimble as a bird, as fast as the wind.
Tefnut, goddess of the rain allows her to call forth fog and rainstorms.
Ra, the sun god bequeathes the ability to create beams of light and heat from her gold-irised 'eye of power,' as well as enhanced vision and to generate 'the light of Maat' that reveals the truth and strips away illusions.
Nuit, goddess of the night sky gifts her the power to call down the night and enshroud an area in darkness, as well as to see in the dark.
Geb, the earth god, bestows the strength and durability of earth and stone, so that she endures like the great pyramids.

With their gifts, she is Strong!

Just screwing around, wanted to see if i could spell out T-H-O-R.
So anyway, this guy has the raw power, stamina, strength, battle lust, cunning, magic and various flame based abilities of Trigon, Hades, Orion, and Rao. I used a pic of Garrison from the old Battlechasers book to show what the transformed person might look like after invoking the name.

I remember that Mary Marvel has her divine power-set which contains female mythological figures to differentiate Billy Batson's male mythological benefactors. I would not mind if she has her own power set again but I am fine with her having been shared with Billy's Power.

I thought about a darker version of Shazam with an acronym similar to Earth 3 Lex Luthor but instead of the power to absorb abilities or divine power, it will be demonic power instead.

So, I tried this once for a superhero role playing game. I was going to play a Shazam style hero and figured I should have my own magic word and everything. I looked up different magic words. I tried just putting things together that would sound cool. Every time, I was always one letter or two letters short of being able to make it work. I finally came up with a list of gods on whom I would call to get my power and came up with my magic word! What did it end up spelling out? THOMAS! I just stared laughing. I decided to change the character concept, but I did make his first name Thomas. I don't remember exactly what the letters represented anymore but I still laugh when I think of it.

Which would make a word like AHADHA?

What a bizarre mix of powers though! Plant control from Demeter and fire powers from Hestia, archery from Artemis and battle (and craft!) skills from Athena.

And from Hera? Who knows, the power to get cheated on a lot and be really bitter about it? She got a bum rap... (and a bum for a husband!)
