X-Men Legends: new series features untold tales by Claremont, Nicieza & more

Marvel Comics has announced a brand new X-Men series is on the way dubbed X-Men Legends. Set for a February 2021 release, the new series will explore different classic eras of the mutant heroes and will be in-continuity. The tales will be set during groundbreaking runs of classic creators and, yep, those classic creators will be helming the series. Those creators include Chris Claremont, Louise Simonson, Fabian Nicieza, Larry Hama, Peter David, and more!

“It’s incredibly exciting to finally tell the story of the infamous “third” Summers brother. Twenty-five years in the making, to see the truth about Adam-X revealed – and drawn so magnificently by Brett Booth – is one of the most surreal experiences of my career!” Nicieza said in a press release sent to AIPT. “Getting the opportunity to tell this tale while kicking off the new X-Men Legends series is an x-tremely x-citing!”

At least this means Booth is off the main title... hopefully?

This does not sound at all like the book for that.

It's magical how they bring up the subject in anything that has absolutely nothing to do with it.

A comic about Adam X already existing Vulcan to fill the gap of "Third Summers brother" is a concept that does not interest me.

Well, the concept itself of the series makes me lazy but I guess it's a nice gesture with former creators.

Not very interested in this, just pandering nostalgia.
