Default We will remember you with love Trebek. Cast your fan Jeopardy host.

I know there is a lot of talk about Lamar Burton. But I personally would like to see Mayim Bialik from Big Bang! Who would you like to see?

Yes, the petition is popular online, but I still very much want to see LeVar Burton as host. Ken Jennings likely has the better chance, but LeVar Burton is right up there with Mr. Rogers, Bob Ross, and Alex Trebek himself in pop culture wholesomeness.

Funnily enough, here's a list by oddsmakers of various celebrities becoming host of Jeopardy. Note that obviously just because someone's on this list doesn't necessarily mean that they're under actual consideration by producers (I mean, certainly not Oprah or Jon Stewart).

While I most likely see Ken Jennings taking over, something I saw... You know what, that's not entertaining, its just depressing that such a person would even be considered taking over hosting duties on Jeopardy.

What would be wrong with Jon Stewart? I actually think he would be quite good.

Nothing wrong with him content-wise, he's just too big and has moved on to other projects. This doesn't seem to be his line of work. That's why his odds on the page are one of the bigger longshots.

TBH, I've become quite furious about the recent fad to have celebs host game shows. I'm disgusted with Steve Harvey, Baldwin, Anthony Anderson (and his mom), Jane Lynch, Joel McHale, and almost everybody else (I kind of tolerate Drew Carey and Wayne Brady on their shows).

So... Ken Jennings or a complete nobody. I'd probably boycott if they chose anyone else.

I feel the same about food travel shows as well.

But in my mind Joel McHale was a TV host/personality who became a celebrity/TV actor, so him becoming a game show host kinda goes back to his old bread n' butter.
