Default Collections you’d be SHOCKED to see

What collections would you be surprised to see , good or bad?

I’d be gladly surprised to see the WONDER WOMAN: Earh 2 stories from the 70s including the issues that transitioned from Earth 1 to 2 and back along with the World’s Finest stories.

Gladly surprised to finally see the release of the Parobeck JSA series.

Weirdly surprised to see Absolute Batman By David V. Reed. (bad stories)

From Marvel I would be shocked to see:

    1. ROM (rights issues)
    2. Anything from the Ultraverse or Crossgen (really complicated compensation contracts with the creators)
    3. Anything from Marvel UK (outside of the original Captain Britain run, there seems to be zero interest)
    4. Wonder Man 90s series/Hulk 2099 (anything Gerard Jones related is bad PR)
    5. Any Silver Age War/Teen/Western material not by Kirby or Ditko (lack on interest)

For years I would have said William Messner-Loebs Wonder Woman, as the black sheep run, but shockingly we saw the first volume this year with a second to follow soon!

QFT! I'm glad I custom bound my Wonder Man books years ago.

Still sucks DC waited so long to properly collect Jones' Green Lantern and JLI material; there was a short list of books solicited and then canceled within a few months. Talk about bad timing...

    Heckler by Kieth Giffen.

Anything by Gerard Jones (sorry GL: Mosaic).

Rick Veitch Question (although it was really close to happening).

    Jean-Paul's Azrael solo series.

    This one still pains me.

Would be amazed to ever see DC do a reprinting of Captain Marvel's best story from the 1940s, The Monster Society of Evil. This has nearly happened twice from DC that I'm aware of, before getting the plug pulled by the PC-police.

Ditto Detective Comics 1-26 which, from the way I understand it, pulled for the exact same concerns as the Capt. Marvel collection.

I'd be shocked if DC published some of their forgotten out of continuity series from the 80's, things like Electric Warrior, Lords of the Ultrarealm, Outcasts, Thriller, Underworld. I was surprised when they published Cinder and Ashe.

I'd love to see Wild Dog, Moench's Spectre, Roger Stern's Atom and Starman, but I'm not holding my breath

Lovecraft and Howard still get published. Thank god. Where's the difference, though? Are novels different from Comic Collections?

There is a Brute Force TPB... And this was published before they had a bit of a spotlight on the Disney + 616 show about obscure Marvel characters...
