Got it. It's a safe assumption, unfortunately...
I think they really messed up with the mapping on this book. Grell's run could have filled 3 smaller omni's, but they decided to front load this one with way too many issues. A second volume is going to look puny next to the first, and they won't charge less than $100 so that will be a huge turn off to buyers as well. I almost sold my trades when this book was announced, now I'm glad I didn't...

"I can't complain. I got to be Jim Morrison for the first half of my life, and Ward Cleaver for the second half." - Warren Zevon.
The hypothetical second volume wouldn't be so small. Adding the page count of the three trades left to collect (vols. 7-9) will get to over 900 pages. Adding the Shado miniseries (4-issues, 50 page each) will bring it to 1100. There's also the 6 issues of 1991's The Brave and the Bold Grell co-wrote with Mike Baron, which featured the Green Arrow.
Dreadstar got a nice box set in 2019. Or did you mean as a Marvel release?
Edit: my bad, I didn't see there was actually a second page where this had already been discussed.

The complete 1940's Captain Marvel and Whiz Comics. Even though this was one of the most popular comics ever, there are problems with racial stereotyping. DC cancelled their Monster Society book because of this.
There isn't a snowball's chance in hell that lesser Golden Age DC characters will be collected in any form let alone A-listers like Captain Marvel or Aquaman.
The big two should outsource reprints of their more esoteric 30s, 40s, and 50s. I don't think it would hurt DC if they liscenced the reprints for let's say Sugar and Spike to Fantagraphics, Dark Horse, or IDW.

I am *shocked*, I tell you!
So a smaller third volume with Ollie, even if its not titled LongBow Hunters, would take us up to issue #100 and Connor takes over the mantle/hood at #101, right?
Surely there are some other Ollie-centric issues in other title out there to have an Omni covering #81-100.
