(Also, the concept of having a "good clone" of Apocalypse was always kind of having your cake and then eating it. I love Evan, but come on)
Evan wasn't more complex than Apocalypse, what made him special was that he was an actual good person at heart. Evan was a copy of his body, not Apocalypse mind - he was his own person. As we know Apocalypse hasn't changed that much, that's why he served up the Externals on a platter for sacrifice because if there's anything Apocalypse won't do is be the hero sacrificing himself for anything. That's why he's the Hannibal Lecter in X-men, rather than the Clarice Starling. Charismatic, charming, seductive and dangerous to anyone near him.

Clock's ticking on him turning on Krakoa.

AIPT: This next question people actually ask a lot. X-Fan Grey asked where is Evan Sabah Nur?

That's sad. But given how nobody stays dead these days, I hope he comes back at some point.

Now that the real Apocalypse is softening on Krakoa, Evan becomes sadly redundant.

It's like Joseph when you already have "Good Magneto" or Dark Beast when our Beast is a jerk.

Evan is a good person, that's why he's not redundant on Krakoa and Apocalypse right now certainly isn't Joseph. Dark Beast would be redundant, unless he made a switch off-screen again.

Agreed. Apoccy has less reformed, so much as Xavier and Magneto are more closely aligned to him, now. Evan is a genuinely good person, who's actually done good things
