I would like to think people could look beyond that, but I wouldn't expect more than a novelty appearance.

(Although they used Power Girl on DC Super Hero Girls of all things, so you never know).

She was more of a temporary alias for Supergirl there.

But she wore the costume and everything. Heck, her characterization and hairstyle on that show is more Power Girl than Supergirl.

They actually could set it in the same era as Green Arrow and the Canaries--assuming that show ever gets picked up.

Donna Troy is on Titans. It's Cassie Sandsmark who never got a shot.

Not sure where I read this, but I've started hearing that these new characters were created for TV, and DC decided to use them in their next event. I do like the idea of them creating new characters of different ethnicities to expand the diversity of their brand, even if these new characters are taking over the mantels of established characters. I'm just worried that, because they are taking over for established, popular characters, they are being set up to fail.

Wasn't she killed off in season two? A street light fell on her.

Given how Donna died on Titans I say it should still apply to her.

I'm honestly thinking she'll come back somehow.

I'm pretty sure they confirmed she would.

And thankfully she got at least a little (and I do mean a little) more to do on Outsiders.

I have no doubt she'll be back. She's the Jean Grey of DC.

Cassie never got a shot at a live-action adaptation, I should say.

She's barely on that show. Her highlight is getting wrecked by Lobo.

At least in season 2 she got the spotlight in that girl squad episode where they infiltrate Bialya.

I think that Donna Troy's chance at the big league was when Sandra Bullock and Joel Silver wanted to make a Wonder Woman movie. I believe that Bullock was going to play Donna Troy in that movie. Even if that movie had been a flop, it would have made a bigger name for the character.
