I've bought every issue so far and haven't read it yet. I had just recently read kings batman run again and finally read my doomsday clock hardcovers and I'm watchmened out.

Is this story referencing doomsday clock or even the button?

It seems like it's in the continuity of the television show.

Neither. It's more in common with the comic and the TV show.

Nope. It's not even a sequel to Watchmen, it's more like a story within it's universe that happens to be set after the events of the Moore book (at least until now).

Yeah I was kinda surprised how much it is a 'stand alone' book kinda thing
