There are a lot of factors with and surrounding Remender that I don't know, and I'm starting to think I might have been premature and unfair in my past judgment of him personally.

Part of the duty of an editor, a good one anyway, is to help a writer avoid crazy tangents and to bring out the best in that writer. Writers can easily get trapped in some bizarre content that may work for them personally because that's where the writing takes them, but wouldn't work for public consumption. If a writer's writing ability is radically different from one book to another book, then it moreso reflects on the editors and their influence than on the writer.

and indeed Mr Brevroort has some very strong oppinions about the X and A side of marvel. I actually thought about this with Remender. I like his writing and most of his ideas for the characters even if his execution has been lacking of late but all writers have their ups and downs times and characters they write a lot better than others.

Assuming Marvel allows it to happen still when the issues come along, it's encouraging that she'll get to interact with her father again on the Magneto solo. The book's been a great read, and it's where everyone I've talked to would like Lorna to appear most outside of ANXF. Aside from perhaps Axis, of course.

I have the feeling based on the art and where this whole family arc has gone that Magneto will have some role in the end of ANXF, but I have the feeling it could be condensed as there is a lot to deal with in the last three issues of ANXF.
