What precisely do they want from the captains? In this event we've had Magik and Cyclops making plans for something to disrupt the tournament and Magik and Gorgon analyzing the enemy's strengths and weaknesses before Saturnyne turned everything into a game of Mario Party. If that's what they want the captains to be doing then they need people who are particularly skilled at strategy and tactics.

Why? With the exception of Kitty, Charles, & maybe Kurt everyone on that council is a potential S - Tier level threat and Scott is always outside during the meetings.

Because although most of the Council is powerful, Gorgon was a trained assassin capable of detecting assassination attempts where others would not see anything.

The problem is that Bishop is in a captain position where he hardly does anything, because when they are on the ship Kitty has more authority, since she is the captain of the ship.

It's like one of those "Navy / Army" conflicts. They should give him more independence.

The issue really is that anyone other than Kitty and Emma is only there to make up the numbers. Storm is having spotlight in the crossover, but she didn't need to be a member of this team for that.

The color of the eyes of the characters is something incredibly inconsistent, it is better not to mind.

I've reread this and ugh, I feel bad for Gorgon. It was predictable that he would be the one to die but he had behaved well in Krakoa. At least he has died as he would like, like a badass, sword in hand.
