I think Death and the other horsemen all looked down at the Krakoan mutants as weak. The Arakkii are their mutant powers in a sense. That’s all they are as they’ve never been without them. Storm has been without them and she didn’t break. She became more than just her mutant powers. She lead the X-men without her powers. She’s not defined by them and therefore she was stronger than he thought

Storm did break when she lost her powers the first time. She got better later on.

It broke Death's sword in one-hit and reflected his own powers back at him. It's not the sword's fault the simp was weak.

Storm sword is made of vibranium (I mean, the typical indestructible combo, everything bounces off it, blah blah) and can be used to throw lightning (which is already redundant for her).

It's just a very good sword.

The drink is a supernatural poison that takes someone's powers away in case they can't heal. It's not just a little drink.
