I looked up Digest comics and found this one.

    satanik-943cfa01-3448-4ebe-8c9c-b6849a633e0-resize-750.jpg

    According to Wikipedia. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satanik

    This comic debuted in 1964.
She takes a drug that changes her like Jekyll and Hyde and her other personal is an evil mastermind.
She uses her sex appeal to commit crimes.
The comic had problems with censorship and some comics were confiscated.
She gets engaged to a black private detective.

An Italian comic, I know in the states this would have been insane for the time.

I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

Well, I don't mean to be frank with you all
    It's a natural fact
Good things come wrapped up in small, small packages now
Well you can't argue with that
    Oh, oh, yeah

In my humble opinion, NO comic book company does digests like Archie, and, with winter right around the corner, I thought this entry, drawn by the legendary Dan DeCarlo was quite timely:

Avatar: Here's to the late, great Steve Dillon. Best. Punisher. Artist. EVER!

This one is harder than usual for me, these pocket books come in various names making a lot of them problematic to find.

Don't know if this counts. Crossgen did put out a digest sized version of Ruse reprinting the first 6 issues. This was one of the covers of those issues that was used for the digest version

Three's a charm for Archie Comics! I can't find the cover for the sole digest I own, so I'll post the one nearest in theme. Bears and camping seem to go together a lot.
