The Mandarin without his rings vs Tiger-Shark
The Mandarin without his rings vs Tiger-Shark
Mandarin is much, much faster, and eventually he’s going to hurt Tiger Shark (because he can hurt Tony’s suit).
But Arliss is in decent thunderclap territory, strength-wise, and I think he could get that off before Mandy puts him down.
If he does that a couple of times and manages to grab hold of Mandy, he’ll literally rip him apart.
At a glance, this looks like it could be a decent fight. Tiger-Shark, in theory, is a flightless Namor with fangs. But his actual feats seem to fall a bit short. The default battleground is Khazan Arena, so that leaves Tiger-Shark at about Class 75 strength, though still bulletproof.
Mandarin without rings is still smashing steel with punches, and while he doesn't have bullet-timing feats, is notably quicker than baseline human. This being Rumbles, that means that Mandarin should be free to dodge Tiger-Shark's strikes while tagging him freely. I think Mandarin will eventually wear Tiger-Shark down for the win.
Here's the thing - Thunderclaps work great against people who are considerably weaker than the person doing the Thunderclap. They don't work so great against people close in strength, and basically give someone of the same strength some sore ears.
I'm pretty cool with Mandarin being tough enough to shrug off a Thunderclap from someone who isn't an out and out Class 100, given the kind of punishment he takes from Tony and keeps on trucking.
Mileage, it may vary. ^_^
