Interesting list. I agree with most of the ranking for these characters but I think I’d swap out Jubilee & Warpath for Domino, Mystique, Cable, Shatterstar or Bishop.

I agree with Wind Rider...though I think Sabretooth and Sage should be on here too.

I could easily see this being a Top 15 or 20 list.

I struggled a bit with putting it together, since usually Betsy and Cable are among the top for me, but here are my top 15 H2H fighters for the X-Men (just based on showings of skill and who they've fought on panel):

1. Wolverine
2. Gorgon
3. Gambit
4. X-23
5. Kwannon
6. Storm
7. Cyclops
8. Kitty
9. Nightcrawler
10. Bishop
11. Domino
12. Mystique
13. Warpath
14. Rogue
15. Magik

Honorable mentions Emma, Banshee, Forge, Havok, Sage and Jubilee. All of them have shown impressive H2H skills on panel.

Didn't include the likes of Sabretooth, Gorgon, Silver Samurai, or any other Wolverine arch nemesis who're currently shacked up on Krakoa since I still see them as villainous characters and didn't wanna push some of the actual X-Men off the list.

Jobbertooth gets his ass kicked too easily & often to be on any list of top fighters. lol His only combat feat since 2002 = "can take an ass-kicking."

Otherwise, I can somewhat agree with the list, but things can get murky given characters like Rogue & Monet.

Lol very true. Victor needs some redemption. Ah and I forgot about M, who is a beast in combat. One of my fave moments was here flattening Enchantress during Wood's X-Women run.

Crud, aka Creed won't be getting any redemption at this point. Hickman had him a few months, and finished destroying that already sunken ship.

Monet is very beastly in combat, provided she's not being written as a dumb brute like she often was in X-Factor. Wood's X-run redeemed her a bit there.

The series is a huge mess, and filler at this point, but she did clobber Omega Red pretty good in Weapon X.

Guys, this list is not about the best "fighters" it is about martial arts. So Any character beating any other wouldn't necessarily contribute to this list. Since most of the writers don't know anything about martial arts, it is tough to make an objective list. However, CBR's was a nice try IMHO

CBR got top 3 right. Cable should be in Top 5 after Kwannon instead of Kurt.
Places 5-10 could be a mix of a lot of X fighters really.

Huge difference between Kid Cable and OG Cable, though. I wouldn’t even put this weak kid version in the Top 10.

Yeah, yeah... he killed the OG version. That’s was b.s. Plus he caught him by surprise because he wasn’t expecting to be assassinated by himself.

Gambit went toe-to-toe with Blade, Deadpool, Moon Knight and Daredevil, with Bishop even when Remy was depowered and now he is on list lower then Kitty? No way

Y'all forget old school Jubilee was created to be a Robin to Logan's Batman. She was a world class gymnast back in the early days. I don't remember her dishing it out too much offensively, but I do remember amazing evasive feats, so maybe that's where the article was coming from.
