Rogue Sun volume 3 felt like a good place to end Rogue Sun's core narrative. Most of the threads are wrapped up and Dylan is in a different place from when he started.

It was my least favorite arc. I don't like his Father and Grampa much. I mean I don't like Dylan either, but I get that not every Hero is likable. Its a different approach in Rogue Sun. I read it monthly and have to reread again, because I forgot all the threads. I guess it reads better in one sitting.

Quick question, is there a big collection of the massive-verse? Like something that collects the Radiant Black series, Dead Lucky, Rouge Sun, Inferno Girl Red, Crossover one-shots, etc.?

So i finally read rogue sun vol 3 and i enjoyed it. I think its the weakest of the 3 arc so far but still enjoyable. It started off strong but the middle was kinda a lul but the ending was pretty good. Id give it a 3 or 3.5/5.
spoilers:end of spoilers
Positives: All the rogue sun lore was cool, learning about the rogue suns of different eras was intresting and i liked how even thiugh rune was technically a hero, he was still a bad person because he was a viking. Another postive were the new villians we saw. I like that this series keeps up the urban fantasy aestetic with its characters. Lastly i love the pptential for character growth in the future, Juliette kills a villian, Aurie absorbs Caleb's soul and brock befriends billy, im intrested to see where things develop with them.
Negatives: The art inside the soul stone wasnt doing it for me. I think because the coloring is usually very moody to fit with the aestetic, to go to very bright was jarring to me. I think Owen's whole 'i was only treating you like **** to toughen you up but i actually love you' was wack. I know this probably happens but ive seen this too many times in other things mainly anime to justify a character being horrible to a family member. Anothet thing and this is a me issue but i alawys hate in superhero stories when the mc's family gets powers or equipment to help them in the final fight. Its just wack to me, also it kinda punks the villians if they lose to people just getting new powers for the first time.
Also wonder what dylan's weapon is going to be? What was Marcus'?

New characters, the one of the left is Divinity and the one on the right is Mad Melony. Just a guess but from her design Divinity is 100% going to be a Dylan love interest, she just looks like his type lol

That just collects the first issues - it's a sampler not a comprehensive collection.

Awesome that Kyle and team continue to build on this universe. I am buying that HC for sure, can then get rid of my TPB's.
Radiant Black and the Massiverse has so much potential to actually be done as an animation one day based on how well they have built out this universe.
