Default What are Marvel's best comic stories?

I'm currently planning a poll thread to determine Marvel's Best stories, and I'd like the forum's help in filling out the bracket.

The stories you recommend can be in-continuity, they can be elseworlds, they can be show tie-ins, as long as they're comics, it's all good. Just give me the title of the story, and the issues it's told in. If you see that someone else has already recommended that story you want to recommend, be sure to give it a second. It'll help me narrow things down.

Also, don't recommend entire runs. Recommend individual story arcs

I want to do a 48 story bracket, and so far I have found 32 stories to include. Here's what I've already got.

    1. The Infinity Gauntlet (The Infinity Gauntlet #1-6.)
    2. Secret Wars (Marvel Superheros Secret Wars #1-12.)
    3. Secret Wars (Secret Wars #1-9. )
    4. Inferno (Uncanny X-Men #239-243. X-Factor #35-40, New Mutants #71-73. )

    6. Annihilation (Drax the Destroyer: Earthfall, Annihilation: Prologue, Annihilation: Nova, Annihilation: Ronan, Annihilation: Silver Surfer, Annihilation: Super-Skrull, Annihilation: The Nova Corps Files, Annihilation #1-6, Annihilation: Heralds of Galactus. )
    7. Civil War (Civil War #1-7, '06 - '07)
    8. Planet Hulk (Incredible Hulk #92-105, Giant-Sized Hulk #1. )
    9. The Dark Phoenix Saga (Uncanny X-Men # 129-138. )
    10. Days of Future Past (Uncanny X-Men #141-142. )

    Great initial list
    Great additions by other posters
I strongly recommend bringing the tournament up to 64 story arcs

My plan is to do 48 because that ends with having three stories.

So once I have those three, I'm going to pit them against the final three at DC, as a sort of Marvel DC thing

This series is JRJR's best work by far in my opinion.

Anyway, I'd like to add a vote to Marvels, such a fantastic love letter to that era of Marvel.

Also it may be a bit early, but if it's not already been mentioned, I'd add HOXPOX.
