Great lists, I'd suggest a few:
    • The Avengers: The Celestial Madonna Arc
    • The X-Men: World Tour 1 (not an official name, but the story running from 54-65)
    • The X-Men: World Tour 2 (again, not an official name, but running from 111-128, although one could argue this is Chapter 1 of The Dark Phoenix Saga)
    • Marvel Two-In-One: A Gathering Of Heroes (#51)
    • Marvel Two-In-One: The Saga of Project Pegasus (53-58)
    • Dr. Strange vs. Dracula
    • Strange Tales: The Eternity Saga (130-146)

What are the issue numbers on the Celestial Madonna Saga?

In my opinion, DD #226 shouldn't be considered part of the arc. Frank Miller's predecessor, Denny O'Neil. was credited as co-writer of #226 - perhaps he plotted the issue before Jim Shooter fired him. The story was not included in the original Born Again trade paperback in 1987, but apparenly turned up in later editions. There's said to be a slipcase edition of Born Again, which bafflingly also includes the weird standalone story from DD #219 by Miller and John Buscema.

Avengers #129-135 and Giant-Size Avengers #2-4. According to Steve Englehart's website, Doctor Strange #7 also ties into it.

Would you consider starting with 64, then put the last four Marvel against the last four DC?

That introduces the possibility of a tie. With 3, one side is guaranteed to be the winner

Wouldn't you want to keep pairing the winning stories until you're left with one winner?

This is supposed to be a Marvel vs DC thing, so if I put the last four marvels against the last four DCs, that presents the possibility of three DC wins to one marvel win, which in turn creates the possibility of a DC vs DC finale, which doesn't fit. And the reverse could also happen.

Gonna throw one in for Deadpool, because I think it at least deserves a mention...

"The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly" - Deadpool, volume 3 #'s 13-19

It has heart, suspense, action, great team up writing, the perfect art, and is probably the best DP story ever written.
