So we all know batman is hands down the best Detective in the Dc Universe but who is the Best Detective not named Batman? So maybe the second best Detective in The Dc Universe.

Tim Drake, naturally.
The Question or Detective Chimp.
As the best investigative journalist on the planet, Lois Lane has to be near the top.
Ok, so what are some actual examples of Dibny solving mysteries and detecting that would make him runner up to Batman?
Going to respond to my own thread because I didnt post this in my opening post.
I would think Detective Chimp is up there. Not only is it in his name but I remember an Issue of Batman (Cant remember which one) Where Batman was consulting on a case with Detective Chimp. So maybe DC isnt the second best but Bruce does respect his skills.
I would also guess that Riddler should be up there. Have there been stories that focused on his puzzle solving skills? I bet he could put all the clues together and make a great cop.
Elongated man was also always shown as a smart man. I love the line in 52. "Plastic Man is the joke. I am the detective."

Dibny, Ralph Dibny.
Chase, Ralph Dibney, Detective Chimp, Tim, and the Body Doubles spring to mind.
How could I forget Ted Kord!! COUNTDOWN really highlighted his assets in that arena.

I'm a fan of the original Detective Chimp run--by John Broome and Carmine Infantino--in THE ADVENTURES OF REX THE WONDER DOG. But I have to say I have not read much of Bobo's recent stories. I understand that there's some supernatural reason why he can do the amazing things he does. But in the original comics, he was just supposed to be a very clever chimpanzee. He certainly solved mysteries, but we weren't supposed to think he was some sort of mutant ape. Nor were we supposed to believe he was the greatest detective in the world--just the greatest detective chimp in the world. Now if we're talking Sam Simeon--that's another animal all together.
