I think mutant vs. Sentinel cyborgs/and or techno-organic lifeforms is something that Powers of X/House of X very centrally set up. Xavier and the mutants relying so much on technology with Cerebro could create a problem in the future. Xavier being enhanced by technology seem to quite similar to humans enhancing themselves. Maybe Cerebro slowly will take over and creates a new sentinel-like personality for Xavier?
