Default Ugliest Peter Parker drawing ever in a Marvel comic?

Was reading ASM #242 or such and came across *this* horrific visage...ugly-peter-parker.jpg

Not sure what happened to Peter but *man* that is not pretty. Any others out there that are worse or equal to this monstrosity?

You can blame Dave Simons for the ugly faces in Amazing Spider-Man #243 (not just that one, and not just Peter).

Francisco Herrera was a pretty bad artist.

I don't know when this artist stopped working on the comics, but the art during Big Time and Spider-Island looked to exaggerated and weird in my opinion.

Aside from my own dislike of Joe Quesada's work I feel like Greg Land needs to be brought up here for his lazy art. Like I literally went googling for something to post here and found back to back images of him recycling Spider-man work. Back to back the Spider-man image was mirrored and recolored. I'm not sure that guy does any original work anymore.

But beyond that he's just reusing images he's already used, tracing from porn, movie posters, or other artists (and yes I am still pissed for what he did to Tristan Jones), which only makes his work look stiff since it's a bunch of poses never meant to be used in those scenarios. I mean sure there are artists I dislike out of preference but I feel disgusted Marvel even hires this guy since he can't seem to do anything but trace and steal.

Greg Land is 100% why I'm not going anywhere near the Symbiote Spider-Man comics, it might be the best Spidey comics out there, and even if that's the case, I don't care, Greg Land's incompetence, lazyness, and tracing are disgusting and it's not even worth to look at it.

But hey, he probably makes stuff fast, so no surprise he's still around, even though he really shouldn't be, 'cause is what he does even legal?

I did read the first Symbiote, is fun in a sort of nostalgic way (it feels very 80s Spider-Man) but you are not losing much. Don't know about the rest of that, but apparently Peter did magic at some point, the sequel sounds like an acid trip.

Greg Land's work is just awful in general. He is one of the fee artists whose work is salvageable only by his colourist.
But hey, at least he can draw feet

He's proved to be able to draw (or trace) anything. How he does it is of little consequence to me, as long as it looks correct.

Also, it's ASM 243, not 242. I've already stated it, but some insist on 242.

Greg Land's art really disgusts me like no one other. Actually, it's one of those cases where I get the feeling that his work "proves" he's a bad person. Irrational, I know, but I can't shake that feeling.

It might be nostalgia, but I really like Ramos. Yeah, his style is weird, but I've enjoyed it quite a lot.

Never liked Quesada drawings. His Peter always felt out of place.

That's cool. I can respect that.
