I know I did have that Star Trek compilation book of some of the first season episodes. Probably eventually tossed out at some point during my Mom's cleaning like those Marvel posters in a previous post. Back then we kids were not that interested in keeping things in a pristine state.

Remember those original AMT models of the starship and the shuttlecraft? Then the phaser/communicator/tricorder one? I had those, the assembled models are in a box somewhere in my parent's attic, probably ruined like you say. Toys are meant to be played with!
