I had my sister in the US ship this (and other merch) to me before the movie came out here so I would have bragging rights, and I actually wore that black JP T-shirt on opening day which had people staring at me.

I feel that the adaptation was better than the movie, in this case:
Every day is a gift, not a given right.
Great stuff! As I recall that Star Trek art was also used on the cover of one of the Star Trek story compilation books. Bob Larkin specifically paid tribute to Bama's work for his wonderful cover for the Motion Picture adaptation. I've always liked that cover and the original, of course.

I know I did have that Star Trek compilation book of some of the first season episodes. Probably eventually tossed out at some point during my Mom's cleaning like those Marvel posters in a previous post. Back then we kids were not that interested in keeping things in a pristine state.
Nschornhorst. Funny how many not so commercially successful films (like The Dark Crystal too) become cult classics later on.

Squirrel Man as I loves me some Tolkien, but honorable mention to Shalla Bal and the Matt Baker Lorna Doone cover.

seismic-2 I love those Oz books! Runner ups this week for me are Riv86672 and CaptCleghorn
Riv86672, Uncle Scrooge's attitude is great there.
Honourable mention to Kai "the spy", but I can't bring myself to vote for what is essentially a rape fantasy.
«Speaking generally, it is because of the desire of the tragic poets for the marvellous that so varied and inconsistent an account of Medea has been given out» (Diodorus Siculus, The Library of History [4.56.1])
I'm gonna go babyblob mostly because I'm amazed that such an adaptation exists.

I read a lot of these Starwars comics… Some episodes were quite good.
Rob Allen for the cover of the adaptation of the movie.
Honorable mention to ChadH and PaulBullion.
