Even if the resurrected Gorgon isn't really "our" Gorgon, they might still let him keep his captain's job as long as he's not completely crazy.

I do think Isca or Bei should get the Apocalypse seat. Arakko's thousands of mutants have essentially just been granted Krakoan citizenship. They should have some sort of voice

Arrako needs a representative. Even if they have a government, they're very likely NOT getting their own comic, and will not have freedom on Earth. They will be under the boot of the QC. Also, Isca is an Omega-level mutant whose abilities could cause great chaos. Her being Arrakii royalty is the cherry on top.

I don't get why people keep bringing up Namor. He doesn't trust Xavier, and thus doesn't trust Krakoa. That, and they don't care about the well-being of non-mutants that much...which his kingdom mostly consists of.

Namor will come back into the picture when Hickman inevitably brings back the Illuminati to wage war on Krakoa.

in regard to the people saying for Isca, wouldn't she basically be a non-factor for this kind of thing? you guys realize that since she's cursed to "win" at anything she's put in even if its not really what she'd like, she'd just make herself be the last person to vote so that she'll vote for the majority or be the tiebreaker.

That doesn't have to be how her powers work. Why vote for the majority, if she knows that that side will fail? We'll vote for whatever brings victory, minority or majority. At that point it comes down to the pride, agendas and values of the rest of the QC.

because that means she'll "lose"? you think she'll vote for a side that loses in the voting and won't be done anyway? its not like her power warps reality around her, its only on herself. if it fails, all that will happen for Isca is she'll invert again and then jump into a portal that would get her to safety or be on the enemy side.

alternatively I can see her just abstaining in some votes so that she doesn't lose if she knows that the majority is in the wrong.

or another thing that came to mind, is that Isca will vote for the majority, but then after the voting is done she'll do some behind the scenes actions to ensure her vote was right or heck maybe even join in. for example there's this mysterious threat that they want to send a team for, and Isca knows they will lose but most of the Council will vote to send them anyway, she'll vote yes as well and then join in or make suggestions like sending certain mutants to join in as well.

Isca on the council would be dumb. She'd only choose the winning side every time, unless the others voted a tie and then she could actually choose something for once without "losing".

Except she can't predict the future. So if she votes on the minority thinking her side will be proven the winner and that doesn't happen, she will have lost. But unlike in battles, she won't be able to change sides the moment the tide changes.
