Beast was attempting to put all the Russian mutants (besides Magik for some reason) on public trial without any real evidence and Kurt was one of the people in the background shot. We have no idea what information was provided to the onlookers and considering Beast's own teammates didn't know what he was doing I'm going to assume that he didn't provide all the facts.

Percy also said that all the “memos” are read and approved by the quiet council so everyone in authority knew the anti Russian plan and helped set up the perp walk except the other x force members because they didn’t need to know. This is explain why Jean wasn’t interested in helping wolverine prove colossus was innocent at first. She was already briefed on the situation while wolverine was not. So Kurt and jean and storm and Emma and Kate all knew what beast was going to do and they all said it was fine.

Lol, cuz other issues made it like they can't and not everyone reads every book. If you didn't read that pointless Cypher issue of New Mutants, you wouldn't know they could leave. Because it was pointless, it doesn't need to be read, thus many don't know.

That and everything has been inconsistent for awhile now. Don't act shocked this doesn't make sense. This is the problem with too many damn books, that are supposedly connecting to tell a bigger story and most of the writers either suck or have their own agendas that don't match the head guy.

When did Percy ever say anything like that?

This is also a clear misreading of the events as the last page of the issue shows Jean surprised to find Colossus and Omega Red locked up for interrogation.

Dani says that human institutions aren't built to last. Which is absolutely true, they've been built to exploit the lower class and benefit the privileged ones. Which isn't the definition of something that can actually last.

And the irony is that Krakoa is doomed to follow the same path. With the Quiet Council being the privileged ruling class, making decisions for the millions of “lower class” mutants now on the island... to the point where they now want to bar the use of the term “X-men”... they ultimately become that which they abhor. Such is the way of things.

I actually really hope that this run ends on a hopeful note where the people find out what Moira, Xavier, and Magneto have been doing and strive to make a better Krakoa without all the lies and manipulation.

Considering comics are torture porn though I'm also bracing myself for another genocide plot.

I'm thinking that's what it'll be. When all the Moira **** is done they'll be so pissed at Xavier and Magneto they'll probably get the boot and redo the government from scratch.
