Will the Crucible be scrapped or continued?

Without Apocalypse, who'll be doing the Crucible? Will there be a Crucible?
Will a new killer... er... officiator be making the cuts? Exodus? He's fanatic enough. One of the mutants who needs to feed on other mutants/humans: Selene, Emplate, or Krakoa itself?

Will it be scrapped and another way to decide who should be resurrected with their powers be conceived? I hope that barbarity gets scrapped in favour of whatever faith Nightcrawler is pulling out of his blue furred butt.

I don't know, but I think there's good conflict in the decision making process. Would be interesting to see who spoke up for each side.

That or Thunderdome between viable contestants who want to be resurrected. Two mutants enter, one mutant leaves.

I thinks theres a couple of people who could do the Crucible: Magik, Bishop, Psylocke, Nightcrawler, Azazel, Orphan Maker, Outlaw, Frenzy, Calisto, Marrow

Emplate should do it. He could feed off the defeated mutant whilst that mutant be reborn. Win/Win.
