Default Could a Herald and Bumblebee mini series work?

Would a miniseries about DC’s married superhero Titan couple work?

    They’ve never had one before.

    Of course it could.
Unfortunately, there is a snowball's chance in Hell of ever seeing one!
The Titans franchise has pretty much been completely burnt to the ground and it's remaining ashes pissed all over.
Maybe if they appear in the TV series there would be a slim shot - but mate I wouldn't hold my breath!

I would buy a Guardian and Bumblebee mini. The Herald gimmick is terrible.

If the writer is good at relationship/romance drama, yes.

I agree - Guardian is much better. And sure, it could work, but you'd need a really strong creative team - a fairly big name with a real vision for what the story would be to get people excited. People aren't going to be excited just to see them.

Guardian over Herald, but yes. I agree the Titans franchise is a mess -- and has been for too many years to count. That said -- might be a good idea to feature the characters separately.

I'm pretty sure the Titans TV show already skipped over them. And if they were ever to appear in the Arrowverse, Mal would have to be Vox or Herald - Guardian has been used already, for Jimmy Olsen of all people.

Heck yeah, I’d love to see what they get up to that we never get to see.

It could work as long as the writer doesn't go overboarx with relationship drama.

I might take a passing interest in it for my own amusement IF Mal Duncan used the Horn Blower identity : )

I'm curious to see how Ridley depicts them in The Other History of the DC Universe, but in general I'm down for more Karen and Mal .

^ I cannot wait for that issue but I have a strong feeling that (fairly or unfairly) the Titans are not going to come off well in it. IIRC Karen's whole purpose in becoming Bumblebee was to show Mal that the Titans weren't treating him as their equal, and that is obviously going to be fertile ground for Ridley to explore. Plus there's the whole getting dumped by their friends for years during the whole NTT period and then after they were injured in 'Infinite Crisis'.
