Angela not really Thor's sister?

Anyone else think maybe Angela's not Thor's sister? Here's my thoughts on it. The new woman Thor is blond. This makes way more sense for nordic Thor's sister, also where else would this blond woman come from in the next couple of issues? Also, who better to carry Mjolnir than Odin's first born, his daughter. I think she may even be the mysterious prisoner in the woods. Any thoughts or is this coming from left field?

I guess we'll soon see. But as far as I can tell it looks like they are making going to make Angela be Thor's sister. And I believe they've said somewhere that this blond woman is someone we already know.

Still we'll soon find out one way or the other.

I know they've implied that Angela is Thor's sister, but it seems too early in the story arc to reveal her identity. I think they're still building to a big plot twist/ reveal. I could be wrong, but its fun to speculate.

It is fun to speculate, on that we're in total agreement Bradheartguy.

I'm pretty sure they've already said the new Thor isn't his sister. There's no reason it would have to be his sister, any more than Bill or Eric were his brothers. In fact, I can't think of Mjolnir ever going to a family member... except maybe passed to a son.

It's a good point. I thought of Beta ray bill when I was considering this theory. I guess I just made a connection between the new female Thor and his sister because they were announced almost at the same time. Also, I still feel the narrative of Thor and Loki Original Sin is building to a big mystery reveal and I feel that that could be his sister's identity. Also Thor saw his sister in a vision and yet didn't recognize Angela when he saw her.

Yeah, I just re-read the last issue of God of Thunder before the OS mini, and I got serious "Jane could end up being Thor" vibes as well. Plus, Angela NOT being Thor's sister would make this entire mini centered around her pretty much completely pointless, and her being "Asgard's Assassin" as well.

My guess has always been Valkyrie since this new Thor is blond. As for Odin not knowing it's her, maybe he just doesn't know it's Valkyrie?

But we'll find out sooner or later.
