Hawkman! He’s a resurrected Prince from Egypt! He’s an alien space cop from Thanagar! They’re both here in the same universe! One belongs with the JSA! The other belongs to the JLA! They’re the same person! No they’re not! Yes they are! Ad infinitum

*How about Green Arrow has to be poor to liberal. There are super rich liberals in the world like Soros, Tom Steyer etc
*Another Green Arrow one, he is not Batman lite. He is Batman lite otherwise the would't use him as a substitute for him everywhere else.
*Batman beating Superman in a fight. Besides being super strong he is supposed to be super smart when creator de jours let him be, which is never.
*Rebooting the universe every year or so. Pick a canon and stick with it. They will never please everyone so don't try. Every time they try to please everyone they please no one.
*Having B&C-Listers on the Justice League. The league should be made up of the best of the best. If you need a place for these type of characters
    make a team for them.

Can't agree with that one. Satellite League era definitely had some B and C listers and was great JLA to me. I even enjoyed the stories more that had less Superman and Batman (WW wasn't a member during my most favorite part of the era).

Let's screw up Donna Troy even more than we already have.

No, let's just pretend she no longer exists.

Superman careless leave unique and dangerous kryptonian technology lying around for villains, regular crooks and civilians to find and mess up.

Any human knows more about Krypton or it's technology than Supperman.

Any story that involves the following:

The multiverse being destroyed and/or reborn.

    Time travel.

    Magic.

Dead characters coming back to life.

Meta commentary on comic book superheroes and their meaning.

You realize that you just described much of DC's stories for quite a while now? Should be their motto; "Unnecessary And Brutal".

"Batman you're too soft on criminals. The only way to cure the disease of Gotham is by killing them, not locking them up in Arkham!"

Bonus points if this is specifically about the Joker.

    Amnesia stories.

    Cyborg Daddy issues.

Replacement Hero stories. Same powers, same villains but this new character is an Inuit!!!

Hero has child only for child to get taken away and come back older stories.

    Batman almost getting married.

Mucking with a 30 plus year old canon origin story.

Old guys in wheelchairs forming super hero teams are actually evil
Being a "Person of Interest" doesn't make you an interesting person.

Kara/Supergirl having to find herself, and always ending up finding Argo/lost kryptonian civilization.

The Last Son of Krypton, except for cruise ship loads of Kryptonians, floating continents of Krypton, imprisoned Kryptonians, Kryptonians in personal space ships that keep popping up.

New cosmologies created by increasingly numbers of new cosmics with stupider names that sound like a drug commercial. Perpetua - Skyrizi - which is a new cosmic, which is a medicine for skin problems?

Folks have mentioned the no kill rule - that's really stupid. Stupid Guardians, yep. Joker - shoot him, someone. Robin, call Children Services to save the latest tyke.

I 100% disagree with this. In fact I would go so far to say that making the League up of nothing but the big 7 or so has hurt the book for years storytelling wise. It limits what writers can actually do with the team besides big dumb action stories because they can not actually do anything when all their characters have other books. When you have a good mix of A,B, and even C listers lit lets the writers tell more interesting stories because they can do some character work instead of just mindless dumb action. I think the League is so much better to read when it is just maybe 3 or 4 of the big 7 at any one time and the rest of the team filled out with others.
