That's a damn question good. I wonder if Shan asked Xavier to do it. Given the ending of Dead Souls, she might have. Or he might have done it without her asking. I'm not trusting Xavier much, at the moment. (I recently read the first part of his return from the dead in Astonishing X-men and reread the infamous scene from X-men vs Micronauts, so I'm kind of against him at the moment.)

More likely it's Legion or the Shadow King.
