There came a time when the Old Gods died! The Brave died with the Cunning! The Noble perished locked in battle with unleashed Evil! It was the last day for them! An ancient era was passing in fiery holocaust!

I can't see anything in the Kirby101 post at #18. What's the magic incantation for making it visible?

Edit: I see it now. Thanks!

A great many things are just unnecessary…

There have been some faithful adaptations, but not this one...

OK, this is NOT an entry (I already posted mine), but seeing this appearance by the robot:

GI Joe. Many covers to choose from.

I would have posted a scene from the second movie with John Cena, but then the picture would have really small.

I think restorative nostalgia is the number one issue with comic book fans.
A fine distinction between two types of Nostalgia:

Reflective Nostalgia allows us to savor our memories but accepts that they are in the past
Restorative Nostalgia pushes back against the here and now, keeping us stuck trying to relive our glory days.

Low hanging fruit. I mean, not a direct adaptation of any specific Batman or Batman family material as far as I know, but I think most people would agree that it differs insofar that there are even terrible Batman & Robin (& Batgirl) comics out there that are leagues better than that film.
