    I think it’s cause while that’s a good speech he kinda jobs immediately after

    Kal was basically leading the charge during Johns Superman & the Legion of Superheroes

    Sure, he does, but unlike World of Cardboard, the point of that speech was to unite people's hearts and minds so that they may work together toward one goal. His defeat afterward galvanized them, so it didn't rob the speech of its impact for me. He still managed to bring people together through his example.

    I literally read Superman and The Legion of Super-Heroes last night before bed. Small world.
